Wear comfy shoes, especially if you are on your feet all day. Swap them for joggers while you’re not at work.
If your sitting for part of the day, bring a tennis or golf ball along to massage the arches of your feet, keep it cold for added benefit!
If you’re standing or sitting in the same position all day, not only does it impact on your body but your energy can become low too.
Make sure you don’t lift things that are too heavy, bend from the knees not the back when lifting all those heavy Christmas decorations.
Keep the water intake up- drinking at least 2 litres of water a day and limit the coffee and alcohol when you can.
Make sure your eating good quality food, and regularly so that your energy levels don’t slump. When working try to minimise the sugar intake and save that for the special occasions.
Raw nuts, seeds, fresh berries, yoghurt, rice cakes, celery or carrot sticks with peanut butter, tuna and salad.
